Based on a novel by Walt Morey, the movie Gentle Giant follows the story of a young boy named Clint Howard who makes friends with an orphaned bear cub and raises him to adulthood. This 1967 movie is the prequel to the Gentle Ben television series that ran on network television in the late 1960s.
