Watch Rich and Famous

Starring Andy Lau and Chow Yun-fat, Rich and Famous chronicles the trials and tribulations of Kwok and Yung, who consider themselves brothers although they are not blood related. Set in Hong Kong during the year 1967, Yung and Kwok are attempting to escape to America to avoid paying off a Yung’s gambling debt, but they are captured while at the airport.

While Kwok is being tortured, Yung meets his sister in hopes she can leverage her ties with the powerful gangster, Li Ah Chai. Chai bails out Kwok. After, Kwok and Yung being their lives as gangsters working for Li Ah Chai.

Tension between Kwok and Yung develops as their personalities clash. Yung, who is more impulsive than Kwok, is jealous when Kwok becomes Chai’s right-hand man. Yung abruptly stops working with Kwok and Chai after a disagreement over the drug trade they have with Thai gangsters. This decision by Yung puts him directly against his former ganger leading to an all-out battle.
