Yad Veshem: Preserving the Past To Ensure the Future is a documentary about the Children's Memorial at the Yad Veshem museum in Jerusalem. The documentary shows people visiting the museum to honor the 1.5 million Jewish children who perished during the Holocaust. The film shows both historical footage along with children's poems and drawings found at one of the camps. Yad Veshem was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Short Subject Documentary.
